Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits™ is the latest sponsor of the Countryman Motorsports NASCAR racing team. The sponsorship, which includes vehicle decals, hauler decals, and other promotional support, will help promote the new line of Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits™ that is rolling out nationally.

John Marburger, president and CEO of Modern Foods, the company that is partnering with Dwight Yoakam on the biscuit line agreed. "Sponsoring Countryman Motorsports' NASCAR team is an important part of our overall promotion plan for Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits™. Dwight Yoakam, the Grammy Award-winning country music star and entertainer, agreed. "Bakersfield Biscuits originated several years ago when I had some buttermilk biscuits made for some of my friends in Bakersfield. Now these biscuits are available to everyon. Just heat 'em and eat 'em."

Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits™ come in six varieties: Bakersfield Biscuits™, and Bakersfield Biscuits™ with one of the following sauce or gravy packs: Country-style gravy, sausage gravy, chicken stew, beef stew and beef chili. They are available in retailers' freezer cases.

Countryman Motorsports NASCAR racing team includes Trent Owens, nephew of the legendary Richard Petty, racing in the Craftsman truck series; and Adam Andretti, son of the famous racer Aldo Andretti, racing in the Featherlite Southwest series.

Upcoming races for Trent Owens include March 15th at the Darlington Raceway, April 13th at the Martinsville Speedway, and May 5th at the Gateway International Raceway. Upcoming races for Adam Andretti include March 23rd at the Cajon Speedway, April 6th at the Mesa Marin Raceway, and April 27th at the Stockton 99 Speedway.
