Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits™ brand of frozen food products are now available in Albertsons grocery stores in Florida. Albertsons, based in Boise, ID, is the second largest food-drug retailer in the United States, operating about 2,300 grocery and drug stores in 31 states nationwide. In Florida, it operates about 120 combination food-drug stores.
Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter/actor Dwight Yoakam is the creative force behind the ever-expanding line of Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits™ brand food products. His inspiration is his Granny Earlene, who made down-home quality foods for Dwight when he was a boy growing up in rural Kentucky. "I originally had these items made up for some friends of mine, and they liked 'em so much, we had to keep on makin' 'em!" says Yoakam.
Albertsons now offers four items from the line: Chicken Lickin's™ brand chicken fries, Chicken Lickin's™ brand Buffalo-style bites, Boom Boom Shrimp™ brand breaded, par-cooked Buffalo-style shrimp, and Border Shrimp™ brand breaded, par-cooked Southwestern-style shrimp. All four products are now available in the frozen meat section of Albertsons grocery stores.

Chicken Fries are made from all-white meat chicken breast patties with rib meat, breaded, and shaped like fries. Buffalo-Style Bites are also made from all-white meat chicken breast patties with rib meat and breaded, but the breading has a Buffalo-style flavor and they are shaped like drummies and wings. Buffalo-Style Bites are flavorful, but still mild enough for the whole family to enjoy. Both chicken products are boneless and fully-cooked.
Boom Boom Shrimp™ and Border Shrimp™ are both breaded, par-baked shrimp made from hand-selected Pacific white shrimp. Boom Boom Shrimp™ have a unique Buffalo-style seasoning that's as unique as their name. Border Shrimp™ have a Southwestern-style seasoning with a hint of lime. Both shrimp items are tail-off and ready to prepare, for "heat 'em and eat 'em" convenience.
