Modern Foods, the marketer and distributor of the Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits™ brand line of frozen food products, announced today a consumer recipe contest. Recipe entries are being sought in the following categories:
- Easy Fixin's meals (easy-to-make main dishes with hands-on prep time of 30 minutes or less);
- Salads and Appetizers; or,
- Especially for kids.
A trip for two to see Dwight Yoakam in concert is the grand prize, including airfare, lodging and spending money, along with autographed DVDs and CDs. The first place winners in each of the three categories above will each receive a 20" flat screen LCD television set, along with autographed DVDs and CDs.
Boom Boom Shrimp™ are available nationwide in the frozen seafood section of Wal-Mart Supercenters and other fine retailers. At Wal-Mart Supercenters, Boom Boom Shrimp™ are located in the upright freezers next to the fresh seafood counter. A complete list of stores offering Boom Boom Shrimp™, searchable by state, can be found at on the Modern Foods website (www.ModernFoods.net). For consumer convenience, Boom Boom Shrimp™ are packaged in resealable 15-ounce bags.
